Relion and Malco – Charging Solutions have announced the launch of a collaborative innovation project aimed at improving how EV charging infrastructure is operated and maintained across Québec.
The project combines Relion’s purpose-built, EV charging infrastructure operations and maintenance (O&M) platform with Malco’s engineering and field service expertise to deliver a more reliable operational model for EV charging infrastructure across multi-vendor environments.
Solving a Critical Operational Challenge for EV Fleets
As fleet electrification accelerates, charging reliability is becoming a daily operational requirement. For fleets, a failed overnight charging session can mean vehicles are not ready in the morning, routes are disrupted, and operations teams are forced into reactive troubleshooting.
At the same time, many operators still manage charging infrastructure through fragmented OEM systems, disconnected maintenance workflows, and inconsistent diagnostics tools spread across multiple charger manufacturers.
The Relion and Malco project addresses this challenge by centralizing charger monitoring, diagnostics, issue detection, maintenance coordination, and field operations into a single operational environment designed for real-world charging operations.
